Day 2
July 24: mindful stickers

I scheduled tonight's session super late on purpose — I wanted to share my late-night art journaling habit with you. Normally that means curled up in bed, but I'm out of town this week, so tonight it's the basement space where I dropped my bags a week ago and haven't fully unpacked. Honestly, between the rainy-day nap on the couch and entertaining friends all week for my big birthday, I almost forgot! But here we are.

Today was a sticker day for me. I took some wacky little faces straight out of my current art journal, printed them onto sticker paper, hand cut them out, and used them to fill in pages that just needed a little something extra. All of this happened while I ate three gluten-free vanilla cookies and mumbled to myself about composition — the usual.

Download this image to print.

How to save & print your files:

  1. Right-click  (or control click for mac, press and hold on mobile) on the image and choose "Save Image As" (or "Download Image").
  2. Save it to a folder you'll remember — like "Day 1 Journal Files."
  3. Open the saved JPEG and print at 100% / actual size (not "fit to page") so nothing gets cropped or stretched.
  4. Print on whatever paper you're testing today — plain, cardstock, watercolor, whatever's on hand.

Tip: if the image opens directly instead of downloading, just right-click anywhere on it for the save option.
