Y'all. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to keep up with the art journaling over coffee. Late nights are more my speed — that's when I form complete sentences and my brain is actually full of ideas. But in the spirit of not falling off the wagon (ideally for all 60 days), morning sessions fueled by coffee are going to happen.
Though if I show up at 2am some night, don't be too surprised — I'm more of a night owl than you'd think. That might mean catching Anne over in England during her morning tea. We'll see how this all shakes out.
In other news: I'm stuck in Asheville until the AC back home gets fixed. There's a lesson from the universe in there somewhere.
Today you get to watch my creative brain wake up in real time, because the session turned into a full embroidery brainstorming event.

That thin Japanese brush pen (Zig AI Liner)
That Pentel Black fine point rollerball pen that I use all the time (Energel Gel Pen)
The amazing Pink Pentel Japanese calligraphy pen I am obsessed with.
The Posca white pen sampler set I worth every penny to be able to test all the sizes and tips.
Deli paper I used for those gelli plate prints to get some transparency
