Day 15
August 6: Stream of consciousness
Today's live felt like a visual version of a stream-of-consciousness journal prompt. I approached the gelli background the same way you'd approach free-writing — no plan, no destination, just 20ish minutes of randomly playing on the page with whatever art supplies were in reach. Whatever showed up, showed up.

I'm sharing that page as a download so you can work into it too. Make it yours however you see fit — there's no right way to respond to a stream-of-consciousness start.

To see the live chat in real time watch this video on YouTube here.

Download  and print out. How will you use it in your journal?
How to save & print your files:

  1. Right-click  (or control click for mac, press and hold on mobile) on the image and choose "Save Image As" (or "Download Image").
  2. Save it to a folder you'll remember — like "Day 1 Journal Files."
  3. Open the saved JPEG and print at 100% / actual size (not "fit to page") so nothing gets cropped or stretched.
  4. Print on whatever paper you're testing today — plain, cardstock, watercolor, whatever's on hand.

Tip: if the image opens directly instead of downloading, just right-click anywhere on it for the save option.

The blank sketchbook I am using
The ecotank printer I have and love

I have mentioned Sheree Burlingtons wonderful collages and how she has created printables downloads of her own work to revisit ideas. Sheck out her channel. Her work is so inspiring.
