A low-key Sunday. I wanted to be in the living room where the sun was pouring in, but my setup was downstairs . I grabbed my journal and three pens, no fuss, and added details to the spread I painted the day before while sitting in the sun.

Here's the thing: I kind of already know what's supposed to go on this spread, compositionally. But I've learned not to rush it. Some spreads need to sit and ferment in the back of my brain before I dive in and flesh out the rest. That waiting isn't stalling — it's part of the process.
