Day 23
August 14: who cleaned my studio?
Today's replay is a real "coming home" moment — first day back in my own studio, and past-me left me a gift of a cleaned-up space (with one exception: the drafting table, still cluttered, still very much me). I figured the creative flow would show up easily once I was surrounded by my own stuff, but instead I hit an unexpected wall of overwhelm just trying to remember where I'd left off. Watch what happens when I let go of that and drop into play mode instead — the page I ended up with is one I kind of hate right now, but that's the process. It's all progress.

How to save & print your files:

  1. Right-click  (or control click for mac, press and hold on mobile) on the image and choose "Save Image As" (or "Download Image").
  2. Save it to a folder you'll remember — like "Day 1 Journal Files."
  3. Open the saved JPEG and print at 100% / actual size (not "fit to page") so nothing gets cropped or stretched.
  4. Print on whatever paper you're testing today — plain, cardstock, watercolor, whatever's on hand.

Tip: if the image opens directly instead of downloading, just right-click anywhere on it for the save option.
